This 17 m2 flat used to be awkward, outdated and incomplete (it lacked sleeping function). Now it’s a gorgeous, fully equipped (all living functions addressed), air b&b- style place.
The aim was to make it elegant, quaint, comfortable and uncluttered, like a boutique-hotel suite that you never want to leave. This was achieved by hiding kitchen, bathroom, and wardrobes, camouflaging them in the wall moldings. Although the flat has no windows onto the street, (only onto interior court yards) we managed to make good use of the three small windows. We separated the toilet from the bathroom and assured natural ventilation in both. The biggest window was reserved for the bedroom/lounge, making the tiny apartment a very sunny place.
